Getting to Corowa
By Car
Take a road trip. Corowa is around 3 hours from Melbourne, 7 hours from Sydney and 9 hours from Adelaide. You will drive through our beautiful country and see amazing scenery, history, national parks and sample fine food and wine.
Interstate Travellers
Fly into Melbourne and catch the train to Albury OR fly onto Albury. We will be arranging buses to pick up at the airport and train station and deliver to Corowa. Details are on the next page.
Fly to Albury and get a taxi. It is about a 45-minute drive from Albury to Corowa and the taxi fare is approximately $170 – why not share!!
Fly to Albury and hire a car. Reduce the expense by sharing!
Getting to Corowa from Albury
If you are flying or catching a train to the conference, please be aware that there is limited public transport to Corowa/Rutherglen/Wahgunyah from both Albury and Wangaratta. It is just over 60kms from the Albury airport to Corowa.
There will be two bus services on Thursday 16th October from Albury Airport and train station with drop off at accommodation in Rutherglen, Wahgunyah and Corowa. There will be a single bus on Sunday 19th October to Albury. Timings of these services will align with flight and train arrival times.
Into Albury on Thursday 16th October
On Thursday, flights into Albury arrive at 9:40am, 1:00pm, 4:15pm and around 8:00pm
Train services from Sydney arrive at 3:11pm and from Melbourne they arrive at 10:43am, 11:49am and 3:40pm
Bus services will collect travellers at the Albury airport from the 1:00pm flight, pick up travellers at the Albury train station and then proceed to Corowa. The second bus will collect people from the airport arriving on the 4:15pm flight, pick up any train travellers and proceed to Corowa. The cost for this service will be $50 per person.
Out of Albury on Sunday 19th October
On Sunday, flights out of Albury depart at 10:05am, 1:25pm, 1:40pm and 4:40pm
Trains depart Albury for Melbourne at 12:51pm and 3:11pm, and to Sydney at around 11:50am.
A single bus service will depart Corowa at 10:00am (picking up in Wahgunyah and Rutherglen, arriving in Albury train station at approximately 11:15am. The bus will continue onto the airport, arriving at approximately 11:45am. The cost for this service will be $60 per person.
